Voice showdown: laser surgery vs. targeted radiation for larynx cancer

Summary
This study compares two standard treatments for early-stage larynx cancer: laser surgery and a newer, more focused type of radiation that only targets the affected vocal cord. The goal is to see which approach leads to better voice quality after treatment. About 34 adults with stage 0 or I glottic cancer will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments, and their voice function will be tracked for two years.
