Summary

This study watches real conversations between healthcare staff and people with dementia after hip fracture surgery. The goal is to find which words and phrases work best to encourage patients to stand or walk early. Researchers will record up to 50 care sessions on hospital wards and analyze the language used. The findings will be turned into practical training for healthcare workers to improve recovery for people with dementia.
