NCT ID NCT05691023
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests whether stroke survivors can improve arm function by pairing vagus nerve stimulation with rehabilitation therapy at home. Fifty adults who have already received a Vivistim implant will work with a mobile therapist for up to 36 hours over 18 weeks. The goal is to see if at-home therapy is as effective as in-clinic sessions for reducing arm impairment after a stroke.
