Summary
This study aimed to see if an experimental gene therapy called VM202 could help people with painful diabetic neuropathy reduce or stop taking opioid painkillers. It planned to enroll adults with diabetes who were already using opioids daily. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
