New hope for kids with relapsed cancers: immunotherapy plus chemo enters trial

Summary
This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug atezolizumab to standard chemotherapy can help children whose solid tumors have come back or not responded to treatment. About 23 children with relapsed or refractory solid tumors (including rhabdomyosarcoma) will receive the combination. The main goals are to check safety and see if tumors shrink.
