NCT ID NCT05499598

First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding vitamins A and C to a standard gum surgery treatment (using platelet-rich fibrin) helps heal bone defects from gum disease. 28 adults with advanced gum disease took part. The goal was to see if the vitamin mix improves bone fill and gum health more than the standard treatment alone.
