Summary
This study looked at whether a higher dose of vitamin D (4000 IU daily) helps burn patients with vitamin D deficiency feel better physically and mentally compared to a standard low dose (400 IU). 48 adults who had a major burn injury at least 6 months ago took part. The goal was to see if the higher dose improves quality of life and reduces itching.
