Can a simple supplement combo help runners beat fatigue and run faster?
NCT ID NCT07334054
Summary
This study aims to see if taking vitamin D and branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) supplements for 8 weeks can reduce muscle fatigue and improve running performance. It will involve 64 healthy male recreational runners aged 25-44. Participants will be randomly assigned to take different combinations of the supplements or placebos while following a training program, and researchers will measure changes in fatigue markers and running speed.
