First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how vitamin D levels might influence blood pressure in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will collect blood samples from 40 participants to see if certain immune cells (monocytes) trigger a hormone that raises blood pressure. The goal is to better understand the connection, not to test a new treatment.
