Vitamin d may boost bone healing after foot surgery

Summary
This study tests whether taking vitamin D supplements after foot or ankle fusion surgery helps reduce complications like infections or poor bone healing. About 90 adults having ankle or big toe fusion will be followed for 6 months. The goal is to see if vitamin D improves recovery compared to standard care.
