NCT ID NCT07414693

First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding vitamin C to usual hospital care can help children under 5 with severe pneumonia recover more quickly. About 90 children will be split into two groups: one gets standard treatment alone, the other gets standard treatment plus daily vitamin C. Researchers will compare how long each group stays in the hospital to see if vitamin C makes a difference.
