First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether giving vitamin C alongside standard hospital care can help children under five with severe pneumonia recover faster. Ninety children will be split into two groups: one gets standard treatment alone, the other gets standard treatment plus a daily dose of vitamin C. Researchers will compare how long each group stays in the hospital to see if vitamin C makes a difference.
