Summary

This study checks if a pain-relief gas called MEOPA causes vitamin B12 deficiency in children with sickle cell disease. Researchers will measure B12 levels in 29 kids before and after hospital stays for pain crises. The goal is to understand how much exposure leads to deficiency and which children are most at risk.
