First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving vitamin A supplements to children with low vitamin A levels can slow down or prevent the worsening of scoliosis (a curved spine). The researchers will measure spine curves using X-rays and a special tool called a scoliometer. About 140 children aged 6 to 15 with mild to moderate scoliosis and confirmed vitamin A deficiency will take part.
