NCT ID NCT07335991
First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study is testing whether giving vitamin A supplements to children with low vitamin A levels can slow down or prevent the worsening of scoliosis, a condition where the spine curves sideways. The trial will include 140 children aged 6 to 15 who have both a vitamin A deficiency and mild to moderate scoliosis. Researchers will measure changes in spine curvature and quality of life over time to see if the supplements make a difference.
