Could vitamin a levels explain vocal cord lesions?

NCT ID NCT05323292

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at vitamin A levels in 90 adults with vocal fold leukoplakia, a condition that causes white patches on the vocal cords. Researchers will measure vitamin A in the liver and blood and compare it to the type of lesion. The goal is to better understand the role of vitamin A in this condition, not to test a treatment.
