First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looked at whether taking daily vitamin D3 and omega-3 fish oil supplements could help prevent bone fractures in healthy adults. Researchers tracked fractures over time and also checked if genetics or baseline vitamin D levels affected the results.
