Meditation may ease endoscopy anxiety, new study suggests

Summary
This study tests whether a simple visualized meditation technique can reduce anxiety, pain, and discomfort in patients undergoing their first endoscopy. About 72 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care or a guided meditation before the procedure. Researchers will measure pain, comfort, and anxiety levels using standard questionnaires.
