NCT ID NCT07255417

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a simple meditation technique could help people having their first colonoscopy feel less anxious, have less pain, and be more comfortable. Researchers divided 72 adults into two groups: one group listened to a guided meditation before the procedure, and the other received standard care. The goal was to see if meditation could make the experience less stressful and more tolerable.
