First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a visual story sticker to antibiotic packaging helps adults with uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) take all their medicine. 358 adults in Pakistan were randomly assigned to get either the sticker or usual care. The main goal was to see if the sticker improved how many people finished their full antibiotic course, which can help prevent antibiotic resistance.
