First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study explores whether a brain-wave test called Visual Evoked Potential can be used in a new way for people with hearing loss. Researchers will measure how the brain responds to visual images and compare those results with standard hearing tests. The goal is to find better ways to predict success with hearing aids or cochlear implants. The study involves 100 adults with and without hearing loss.
