First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This early-stage study tested a new drug, VIS171, in 61 people to see if it is safe. First, healthy volunteers received a single dose. Then, people with autoimmune diseases received multiple doses. The main goal was to check for side effects and how the drug affects immune cells. This is a first step to see if VIS171 might help control autoimmune diseases.
