Scientists test virus that hunts bladder cancer

Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and initial effectiveness of a specially engineered virus (KD01) for treating bladder cancer. The virus is designed to infect and kill cancer cells when placed directly into the bladder. The study will enroll patients with high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer or muscle-invasive cancer, including those whose cancer did not respond to standard BCG treatment.
