Virtual training plus manikin practice: does it boost student skills?
NCT ID NCT06630143
First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study compared two teaching methods for midwifery students: virtual simulation alone versus virtual simulation plus hands-on practice with a manikin. Thirty-two students participated, focusing on managing severe preeclampsia. The goal was to see if adding clinical simulation improves theoretical knowledge and clinical judgment. This research aims to improve education, not to treat a disease.
