First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether virtual reality or binaural beat music could help patients sleep better and feel more comfortable after mechanical heart valve replacement. Many patients struggle with sleep and discomfort from the valve's sound. 140 adults were randomly assigned to one of the two non-drug methods. The goal was to find a simple way to improve recovery without medication.
