First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether virtual reality (VR) training could help young professional football players perform better physically and mentally. Thirty-nine male players, ages 18-19, were split into groups doing VR training, traditional training, or their usual routine. The researchers measured things like balance, sprint speed, muscle strength, and brain activity before and after the training period to see if VR made a difference.
