First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study tested whether a virtual reality (VR) program could help children with traumatic brain injury improve their thinking and problem-solving skills. Fourteen children who had a brain injury within the past year took part. They used a custom VR game designed to challenge their executive functions, like memory and attention. The goal was to see if this fun, engaging approach could aid recovery.
