NCT ID NCT06274983

First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether an interactive virtual reality (VR) system could help children aged 5-10 with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) do their physiotherapy exercises more regularly. Fourteen children who could still walk used a VR system at home for 8 weeks. Researchers measured how often and how long they used it, and interviewed families and staff about their experience. The goal was to see if VR is a practical and enjoyable way to support rehabilitation.
