First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether a virtual reality program that uses biofeedback (like heart rate monitoring) could help children and teenagers aged 12-18 manage pain after surgery. 93 participants used the program before and after their operation. The goal was to see if the approach was practical and well-liked, not to prove it works yet.
