First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether watching a calming 360-degree nature video through a VR headset during a Pap smear can lower pain and anxiety. About 60 women aged 18-65 will be randomly assigned to either use VR or receive standard care. The goal is to find a simple, non-drug way to make cervical cancer screening more comfortable and encourage more women to get tested.
