VR glasses ease IUD insertion pain in new study

Summary

This study looked at whether wearing virtual reality glasses during IUD insertion can lower pain and anxiety. 70 women were randomly assigned to either use VR or receive standard care. Pain and anxiety levels were measured right after the procedure. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to improve comfort during this common procedure.
