VR goggles ease pain during knee procedure, study finds

Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) during a knee pain treatment called genicular nerve radiofrequency ablation could reduce pain and improve patient satisfaction. Forty adults who were already scheduled for the procedure took part. The results showed that VR helped lower pain and anxiety while increasing satisfaction during the procedure.
