Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) during medical procedures could help elderly patients feel less pain and anxiety. 87 people over age 60 took part. Researchers compared standard care to care with VR headsets or tablets showing relaxing scenes. The goal was to see if VR could make hospital experiences better for both patients and caregivers.
