Virtual reality could help curb gambling cravings

Summary
This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) therapy can help people with gambling disorder reduce their cravings and gambling behavior. About 124 participants will receive either standard talk therapy or VR therapy that simulates a casino environment. The goal is to see if VR therapy works as well as or better than standard therapy in reducing gambling symptoms over 6 months of treatment and up to a year after.
