Summary
This study looked at whether adding virtual reality (VR) balance exercises to standard physical therapy helps stroke patients improve their balance and walking. 34 people who had a stroke within the past 6 months took part. Some did only standard therapy, while others replaced 20% of their therapy with VR balance games using a headset. The results showed that VR training may offer extra benefits for balance and walking ability.
