First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested a new way to help people with long-term low back pain. It combined virtual reality (VR) with guided imagery of acupuncture, without using real needles. 31 adults with chronic pain tried it. The goal was to see if people would stick with the treatment, how satisfied they were, and if it was safe. Results will show if this approach is worth studying further.
