Summary
This study looked at whether sending educational emails to people on a waitlist for eating disorder treatment could help them while they wait. 78 adults were randomly assigned to receive weekly emails for four weeks or to receive no emails. The emails contained information about eating disorders and aimed to reduce harmful thoughts and increase motivation to change.
