First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a less expensive, standard jaw joint prosthesis can be planned virtually to achieve the same results as a costly custom-made one. Researchers will review X-rays from 30 patients who already had jaw joint replacement surgery. The goal is to see if the simpler approach can provide good positioning and function at a lower cost.
