Virtual reality cycling could slow muscle decline in kids

Summary

This study tests whether children with neuromuscular disorders (like muscular dystrophy) who cycle while watching a virtual park on a screen can slow down their loss of motor skills. About 22 kids aged 6 to 17 will first get standard therapy for 3 months, then add the virtual park cycling 3 times a week for another 3 months. Researchers will measure changes in movement, engagement, and thinking abilities.
