App vs. therapist: the virtual knee recovery battle
NCT ID NCT05556850
Summary
This study tested whether a virtual rehabilitation app called STABL works as well as standard in-person physical therapy for people recovering from minor knee surgery. 60 participants were randomly assigned to use the app at home or attend regular physical therapy sessions for 6 weeks. Researchers measured changes in knee pain, function, and quality of life to see which approach was more effective.
