Summary
This study tested whether having a video consultation with a senior emergency doctor before entering the ER could improve care and reduce crowding. 200 adults were randomly assigned to either a video call plus standard care or standard care alone. The goal was to see if the video call could shorten ER visits, boost patient satisfaction, and help doctors accurately decide who truly needs to be in the ER.
