Virtual hope box aims to curb veteran suicides after hospital stay

Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone-based 'Virtual Hope Box' can help reduce suicide risk in veterans after they leave a psychiatric hospital. About 928 veterans who recently had a suicidal crisis will use the tool, which provides coping resources and support. Researchers will also interview veterans and healthcare providers to understand how to best use this intervention in real-world settings.
