Summary
This study tests whether a live, home-based virtual exercise program that strengthens hip muscles can reduce fall risk in older veterans. About 110 veterans aged 65 and older who are at risk for falls will take part. Participants will either do the virtual program before joining a standard VA fitness program (Gerofit) or join Gerofit alone. The goal is to see if the extra hip-focused training improves balance and muscle strength more than Gerofit by itself.
