Summary
This study is testing a 6-week online group program that teaches parents skills to help their toddlers with autism or social communication challenges. The program coaches parents to encourage their child's vocalizations, social smiling, and interaction. Researchers are comparing this online coaching group to a control group that receives general child development information to see if it improves child communication and reduces parent stress.
