Online program trains parents to boost Toddlers' social skills from home
NCT ID NCT05663970
Summary
This study is testing a 6-week online group program that teaches parents skills to help their toddlers with early signs of autism or social communication challenges. The program coaches parents to encourage their child's vocalizations, shared smiles, and social interactions through play-based activities. Researchers are comparing this virtual training to general child development sessions to see if it improves toddlers' communication and reduces parent stress.
