Summary

This study tested a computer-based virtual healthcare agent designed to educate people with advanced chronic kidney disease and their caregivers about kidney transplantation. 148 adults from Penn Medicine took part. The goal was to see if the virtual agent could increase their intention to consider or discuss getting a transplant.
