Kitchen staple vinegar tested as a simple, cheap treatment for diabetic foot wounds

NCT ID NCT07373327

Summary

This study aims to find a better, more affordable way to treat infected diabetic foot ulcers. It will compare how well vinegar-soaked dressings work versus standard saltwater dressings at clearing infection and helping the wound heal. About 84 patients with these ulcers will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two dressing types to see which is more effective.
