First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study compares vinegar-soaked dressings to normal saline (saltwater) dressings for treating infected diabetic foot ulcers. About 84 adults with moderate-to-severe ulcers will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to see which dressing clears infection and helps the wound heal faster, potentially offering a cheaper and simpler option for patients.
