Eye test may spot hidden migraine cause of dizziness
NCT ID NCT07000929
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a standard dizziness test (videonystagmography with caloric testing) can tell the difference between people with vestibular migraine, those with other migraines, and healthy individuals. Researchers measured eye movements in 173 participants to see if the test could become a reliable way to diagnose vestibular migraine. The goal is to improve diagnosis for this often-misunderstood condition.
