First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at whether showing videos of different pain expressions helps patients describe their pain better than the usual 0-10 number scale. 240 adults who had surgery were asked which method they liked more and how clear each one was. The goal was to find a more patient-friendly way to assess pain.
